Gromar Indústria e Comércio Ltda. was founded in 1986 in Piracicaba, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil, initially operating as a machining services provider. At that time, the focus was on serving local demand for the manufacturing and repair of mechanical parts, offering close, hands-on service to regional industries.
Over the decades, with the growth of operations and the technical maturing of the team, the company expanded its scope. We moved from one-off machining services to manufacturing complete equipment and continuously supplying parts to large industrial customers. This evolution naturally led us to three complementary fronts: equipment and components for filling/capping lines (with a focus on plastic cap application), parts and components for agribusiness, and technical items for the energy sector, including applications in wind power generation.
Nearly forty years after its founding, Gromar has built a technical repertoire that combines traditional mechanical machining expertise with the ability to design, manufacture and assemble custom equipment. We have preserved the close, technical customer relationships that defined our early decades — only now with processes audited under ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 and the capability to serve customers across the entire Brazilian territory.
Gromar is certified to ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015, the international standard that sets out the requirements for a Quality Management System. In practice, this means that our manufacturing, control and customer service processes are documented, monitored through indicators and continuously reviewed via internal and external audits.
The pillars of the standard — customer focus, process approach, continuous improvement, and evidence-based decision making — guide the way Gromar operates. Every part we manufacture goes through a traceable chain: from receiving the customer's drawing or sample, to material selection, to machining and the final dimensional controls.
For our customer, this translates into three direct benefits: traceability of each batch produced (we know exactly when and how every part was manufactured), reduced rework (problems are identified at the source, not at the end of the line), and consistency across batches (the part you receive today meets the same tolerances as the one you received in the previous order). The standard also requires a culture of continuous improvement — so Gromar's quality system evolves with every audit cycle.

Gromar's industrial operation is located in Piracicaba, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil, at our own address on Rua Eduardo Fernandes Filho, 81 — Jardim Primavera. The facility consolidates every stage on a single site: material reception, machining on CNC and conventional equipment, mechanical assembly, dimensional inspection and shipping.
We operate a machine park geared toward precision machining (lathes, milling machines and CNC machining centers, among others) and follow the procedures required by ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 for process control. Our location on the Piracicaba–Campinas axis makes logistics straightforward both for customers within the state of São Paulo and for deliveries across Brazil.
