Gromar Indústria e Comércio Ltda. ("Gromar", "we") respects the privacy of visitors to gromar.com.br and is committed to protecting personal data under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law — LGPD (Law no. 13.709/2018). This Policy describes what data we collect, for what purposes, how long we keep it, and what your rights are as a data subject.

2.1. Data you provide voluntarily
- Contact / quote form: name, e-mail, phone and message.
- E-book download form: name, e-mail, company and job title (when provided).
- Newsletter (when applicable): e-mail and name.
2.2. Data collected automatically
- Essential cookies: record of your cookie consent choice (stored in
localStorage). Required for the LGPD banner to function. - Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — only with your consent: anonymized IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time on site, traffic source. We do not load GA4 until you accept.
3. Processing purposes
- Respond to quote requests and commercial inquiries;
- Deliver the technical content (e-books, newsletter) you request;
- Measure audience and improve site experience (only with consent);
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal bases
- Consent (LGPD art. 7, I): analytics cookies, newsletter and e-book downloads.
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual procedures (art. 7, V): handling quote requests.
- Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX): site security, fraud prevention and continuous improvement of our products and services.
- Compliance with a legal obligation (art. 7, II): record retention under applicable statutes of limitations.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:
- AWS (Amazon Web Services): site hosting and transactional e-mail delivery (Amazon SES) from forms.
- Google LLC: Google Analytics 4, only when you accept analytics cookies.
- Internal CRM or ERP (where applicable): commercial lead tracking.
- Public authorities: under judicial order or legal request.
6. Cookies — management
On your first visit, we display an LGPD banner allowing you to choose between "Accept all" (enables Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies) or "Essential only" (keeps only what is required for basic functioning). You can revoke consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for the gromar.com.br domain.
7. Storage and security
Data is stored on AWS infrastructure (São Paulo region) with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss or improper disclosure.
8. Retention period
- Commercial contact and lead data: 5 (five) years, in line with the Brazilian Civil Code statute of limitations for commercial claims.
- GA4 analytics cookies: per Google's policy (default of 14 months).
- Cookie consent (localStorage): until you manually clear your browser.
9. Data subject rights
Under LGPD art. 18, you may request at any time:
- Confirmation of the existence of processing;
- Access to your data;
- Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in non-compliance;
- Data portability;
- Deletion of data processed based on consent;
- Information on entities with which we share your data;
- Revocation of consent.

10. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the current version. Material changes will be flagged on the site itself.
11. Jurisdiction
The courts of the District of Piracicaba/SP, Brazil, are the elected venue for any dispute arising from this Policy, waiving any other venue however privileged, with Brazilian law applying.
