Its function is to retain internal lubricant and block the entry of water, dust and particulates that can compromise bearings and gears. The labyrinth geometry creates multiple pressure chambers that dissipate the flow from outside in.

Yes, we serve both scenarios. For onshore turbines, we use conventional materials and treatments according to the sealing point (gearbox, main bearing, generator). For offshore applications, we specify 316 stainless steel or equivalent alloys with anti-corrosion treatments (anodizing, nickel plating) to withstand salt spray and high humidity, characteristic of the marine environment, always following the customer's technical drawing.
For offshore applications we prioritize 316 stainless steel (high resistance to chloride corrosion) and high-strength steels with protective treatments such as anodizing or nickel plating. Aluminum is used on specific demand at points with lower mechanical requirements. The final choice depends on the customer's drawing, the turbine point and the operating temperature. Every batch has ISO 9001:2015 traceability.
