Gromar manufactures custom sorters, calibrated for the cap type in use and the line speed. Each unit ships with automatic stop sensors, disc gap adjustment and motor speed configurable at 22-25 rpm (up to 8 heads) or 28-30 rpm (more than 8).
| Motor speed | 22 to 30 rpm (configurable) |
|---|---|
| Hopper capacity | Custom; ideal level 1/4 to 1/3 of capacity |
| Disc gap | Adjustable (shims or fixation) |
| Sensors | Automatic stop when the chute is full |
| Cap-contact material | Stainless steel / engineering polymer |
| Compatible caps | 28 mm, 38 mm, and per project |
| Certification | ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 |
| Typical lead time | On request (project-dependent) |
Processes certified to ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 — audited quality in every batch.
Manufacturing industrial parts and equipment since 1986 with multi-sector expertise.
Work from technical drawings or reverse engineering, tailored to your equipment.
Shorter lead time than OEM imports for many components, with technical support from Brazil.
Lead time is quoted per project, as it depends on the specification. The main factors are cap type (28 mm, 38 mm or special geometries), line speed, sorter disc diameter and the level of hopper customization. Projects with standard caps and known geometry ship faster; entirely new sorters require a preliminary engineering phase.
Yes. We retrofit existing sorters, including disc gap adjustment, replacement of worn parts, speed recalibration and adaptation to a new cap format. We work both on original OEM equipment and on sorters from other brands — just send photos, model and a description of the problem for technical analysis.
The motor is configurable between 22 and 30 rpm. The choice depends on the number of capper heads: 22 to 25 rpm for turrets with up to 8 heads, and 28 to 30 rpm for turrets with more than 8 heads. Speed must match line demand to avoid both cap shortage in the chute and sorter disc overload.
Yes. We manufacture sorters compatible with both Cap In Head (C.I.H.) systems, where the head descends to the cap, and Pick-Off systems, where the head picks the cap before descending to the bottle. Mechanical integration and chute height are adjusted to the specific layout of the customer's capper.
Yes. Gromar serves customers throughout Brazil, with machining in Piracicaba/SP and logistics by carriers specialized in industrial freight. We also serve international companies — for customers abroad, simply contact our sales team to arrange logistics and invoicing.
